How it works
We have a quick call
You tell me what you would like to sort out. I tell you honestly what I can do and what it costs.
I visit you
At your home, usually on a Saturday. You do not need to prepare anything.
I move everything over
Your email, photos and passwords move to their new home. I make sure nothing gets left behind, and we check it together.
I stay on as your helper
With ongoing support you send me an email if you have a question later, and if needed I take a look remotely.
Everything safe in one go
Your email address for life, your photos in a European photo vault, all your passwords in a vault, and ongoing support when you have a question.
A one-off €199 to move everything over and set it up. You pay the subscriptions for the photo service and the password vault (1Password, about €4 per month) directly yourself.
Why a fixed amount per month?
Setting something up once is not enough. Phones get replaced, passwords change and backups need to keep working. That is why I look after it for you.
- You know the cost in advance. No bill for every phone call.
- I check that everything keeps working. For example, whether the backup of your photos is running properly.
- Your email address and photos stay yours. Your email address is in your own name, and I write down how everything is set up.
- Cancel any month. If you stop, I make sure you take everything with you.
Why in Europe?
Most people keep their photos and email with Google, Microsoft or Apple. Those are American companies.
- Stricter privacy law. European companies fall under strict European privacy rules. The American government can force American companies, with a court order, to hand over data, even when it is stored in Europe.
- No advertising. You pay a small amount, and your data is not used to show you adverts.
- Close by. The companies I use store your data in Europe, for example in Germany or Switzerland.

Why would I switch to a European company?
Google, Microsoft and Apple are American companies. The American government can order American companies to hand over data, even when that data is stored in Europe. European companies fall under strict European privacy rules. You are also less dependent on one big company that can change its prices or rules at will.
I am not good with computers. Can I still do this?
Yes. I take care of moving and setting everything up. You do not have to do anything technical yourself. Afterwards I calmly explain what has changed, and with ongoing support you can always email me when you are unsure about something.
What happens to my old emails and photos?
I bring them along. I move your old emails, your address book and all your photos to the new place. We check together that everything has come across. Only when you are happy do we cancel the old subscription.
Am I tied to a subscription?
No. The monthly services can be cancelled any month. If you stop, I make sure you take everything with you. Your email address and photos always stay yours.
Can I arrange this for my father or mother?
Certainly. I visit your parents, arrange everything and explain it calmly. You can put the subscription and the bill in your own name.
What if you fall ill or stop?
I deliberately choose well-known European companies. Your email address (the domain name) is in your own name. And I write down for you how everything is set up, so another helper can take over.
Which places do you visit?
I live in Amersfoort and visit you at home anywhere in the province of Utrecht, for example in Utrecht, Zeist, Veenendaal, Nieuwegein or Soest. I usually visit on a Saturday. For setting up a service there is no call-out charge anywhere in the province. For one-off help there is no call-out charge in Amersfoort and €15 elsewhere in the province of Utrecht. With ongoing support you then send me your questions by email, and if needed I look at your screen remotely.

Nothing. In a short phone call you tell me what you would like to arrange. I tell you honestly what I can do and what it costs. There is no obligation.
