One familiar person for all your questions about your computer, phone and the internet. For a small amount each month.
Someone you can turn to
A strange message from the bank. An app that suddenly stops working. A call from “Microsoft” saying your computer has a virus. It is good to have someone you know that you can ask.
With ongoing support, that is me. You send me an email with your question, perhaps with a photo of your screen. I write back telling you what to do, step by step. If it is more complicated, I look at your screen remotely. So this works anywhere, even if you do not live near me.
What is included
- Help by email with all your questions, up to 30 minutes per month. If needed, I look at your screen remotely. Is your email itself not working? Fill in the form under “Call me back”.
- A safety check at your home once a year, anywhere in the province of Utrecht, with no call-out charge. I usually do this on a Saturday. I check that everything is up to date, that your backup copies work and that your passwords are strong enough.
- Priority for home visits.
- Lower rate for home visits: €8.75 per quarter hour instead of €12.25, minimum 45 minutes.
- Not sure whether a message is genuine? Forward it to me and I will look at it before you do anything.
Recognising scams
Scammers are targeting older people more and more. Fake messages from the bank, “Hi Mum, this is my new number” on WhatsApp, or a parcel courier asking for a payment. During the safety check we go through the tricks that are most common at that moment.
The best protection is someone you trust, whom you can quickly ask before you do anything.
No fixed contract
You can cancel any month. I want you to stay because it helps, not because you have to.
